Unlike hammock-style backseat systems, the Backseat Barrier can be left in place since the seat is still fully usable. The top portion is removable when not in use or when used with smaller dogs.
The Pet Barrier also comes with an extra partition that separates passengers and dogs sitting together in the back seat. This is especially great if you haul infants and dogs at the same time! Fits most cars, mini vans, vans, SUVs and pick-ups. The barrier is easy to install and remove; or just leave it in place, permanently. When there's no passenger, cargo or dog in the back seat, the Barrier retracts out of the way. Its rear partition snaps to the main partition, leaving the back seat open.
